Par exemple, la Chine et la Norv\u00e8ge s\u2019attendent \u00e0 des r\u00e9alisations pharaoniques.<\/p><p>Les projets de tunnels ferroviaires, routiers, m\u00e9tropolitains, etc. se multiplient dans le monde. L\u2019Association internationale des tunnels et de l\u2019espace souterrain en d\u00e9nombre plus de 1000 pour un co\u00fbt total de 680 milliards d\u2019euros. Leur objectif vise \u00e0 faciliter les \u00e9changes commerciaux et les d\u00e9placements voire \u00e0 acheminer de l\u2019eau vers des contr\u00e9es d\u00e9sertiques. Voici dix projets et r\u00e9alisations en cours:<\/p><p><strong>1. Ta\u00efwan:<\/strong><\/p><p>R\u00e9int\u00e9grer Ta\u00efwan au sein de la R\u00e9publique populaire de Chine, c\u2019est l\u2019objectif du pr\u00e9sident Xi Jinping. Le plan quinquennal 2016-2020 contient un projet d\u2019envergure pr\u00e9voyant de rapprocher l\u2019\u00eele au continent via le percement d\u2019un tunnel sous-marin de 126 km. Une distance sous la mer unique au monde.<\/p><p><strong>2. Norv\u00e8ge:<\/strong><\/p><p>En avril 2017, le gouvernement norv\u00e9gien a donn\u00e9 son feu vert pour construire le premier tunnel maritime et compl\u00e8tement submerg\u00e9 de la plan\u00e8te. D\u2019une longueur de 1,7 km, celui-ci permettra aux gros navires de fret et de passagers d\u2019\u00e9viter les eaux p\u00e9rilleuses de la p\u00e9ninsule de Stad.<\/p><p><strong>3. Etats-Unis:<\/strong><\/p><p>Elon Musk n\u2019est jamais en manque d\u2019id\u00e9es r\u00e9volutionnaires. Il imagine le transport du futur avec deux projets qu\u2019il compte bien concr\u00e9tiser. Le premier, connu sous le nom de sa soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Boring Company, consiste \u00e0 creuser des tunnels sous les grandes villes pour raccourcir les trajets perturb\u00e9s par les embouteillages. Les v\u00e9hicules p\u00e9n\u00e9treraient dans un tunnel via un ascenseur, puis se d\u00e9placeraient automatiquement sur des rails magn\u00e9tiques \u00e0 une vitesse de 200 km\/h. Le second &#8211; Hyperloop &#8211; vise \u00e0 construire sous terre un tube de transport ferroviaire ultra-rapide. Elon Musk estime que les deux projets peuvent \u00eatre combin\u00e9s.<\/p><p><strong>4. Egypte:<\/strong><\/p><p>Des milliers d\u2019ouvriers s\u2019activent dans la zone du canal de Suez. Pour favoriser le d\u00e9veloppement de la p\u00e9ninsule du Sina\u00ef, l\u2019Egypte construit actuellement six tunnels: quatre routiers (3,8 km) et deux ferroviaires (5,6 km) relieront la ville de Port-Sa\u00efd aux futures zones industrielles en passant sous le canal.<\/p><p><strong>5. Chili-Argentine:<\/strong><\/p><p>Le lancement des travaux du plus long tunnel du continent sud-am\u00e9ricain est pr\u00e9vu pour 2019. D\u2019une longueur de 14 km, celui-ci rapprochera la ville de Coquimbo au Chili de celle de San Juan en Argentine. Aujourd\u2019hui, le franchissement des Andes n\u2019est possible qu\u2019en escaladant le col d\u2019Agua Negra, dont l\u2019altitude \u00e0 4780 m\u00e8tres le rend impraticable pendant six mois par an.<\/p><p><strong>6. Norv\u00e8ge:<\/strong><\/p><p>Le parlement norv\u00e9gien a adopt\u00e9 le projet de construction du tunnel routier le plus long et le plus profond au monde. D\u2019une longueur de 26,7 km avec deux tubes, il permettra de relier \u00e0 390 m\u00e8tres sous le niveau de la mer le nord et le sud du Rogaland s\u00e9par\u00e9 par un fjord, ainsi qu\u2019une \u00eele. L\u2019ouverture au trafic est pr\u00e9vu pour 2025 ou 2026.<\/p><p><strong>7. Suisse:<\/strong><\/p><p>Pour d\u00e9sengorger le rail et la route, plusieurs entreprises helv\u00e9tiques ont cr\u00e9\u00e9 la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Cargo sous terrain. Objectif: la construction d\u2019un syst\u00e8me de fret ferroviaire creus\u00e9 \u00e0 50 m\u00e8tres sous terre et enti\u00e8rement automatis\u00e9. Celui-ci acheminera les marchandises dans un tunnel de 6 m\u00e8tres de diam\u00e8tre. Un premier tron\u00e7on de 70 km devrait \u00eatre am\u00e9nag\u00e9 entre H\u00e4rkingen-Niederbipp et Zurich \u00e0 l\u2019horizon 2030.<\/p><p><strong>8. Londres:<\/strong><\/p><p>Avec 10&#8217;000 personnes \u00e0 l\u2019\u0153uvre, il s\u2019agirait du plus grand chantier d\u2019Europe. Le percement d\u2019un tunnel de 42 km a pris fin l\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9 dernier sous la capitale britannique. Il constitue la partie principale de Crossrail, la nouvelle liaison ferroviaire est-ouest d\u2019une distance de 100 km. Celle-ci devrait entrer en service l\u2019an prochain.<\/p><p><strong>9. Chine:<\/strong><\/p><p>Des ing\u00e9nieurs projettent de construire un tunnel de 1000 km de long pour acheminer l\u2019eau des montagnes du Tibet vers le d\u00e9sert du Taklamakan au Xinjiang. S\u2019il se r\u00e9alise, ce tunnel deviendra le plus long au monde.<\/p><p><strong>10. France-Italie:<\/strong><\/p><p>Lanc\u00e9 il y a une vingtaine d\u2019ann\u00e9es, le projet d\u2019un nouveau tunnel ferroviaire du Mont-Cenis se concr\u00e9tise avec le lancement de trente-cinq appels d\u2019offres qui devraient d\u00e9buter au d\u00e9but 2018. Il reliera St-Jean-de-Maurienne (France) \u00e0 Suse (Italie) sur une distance de 57 km. Cette r\u00e9alisation raccourcira le temps de trajet de deux heures entre Lyon et Turin.
